1. Field and return calls concerning quotes for property and casualty insurance.

2. Seek out new clients or additional lines based on needs.

3. Customize quotes to suit individual needs, determine eligibility, contact underwriter if necessary.

4. Calculate accurately and deliver rates in timely manner.

5. Accurately retrieve information and complete necessary paperwork to obtain insurance policy.

6. Collect and record payment for services rendered.

7. Represent agency in ethical, professional and courteous manner.

8. Explain coverages, features, advantages, disadvantages of various policies to promote sales of Insurance plans.

9. Follow John Yurconic Agency policies and procedures.

10. Be a reliable and dependable team player.

Credentials and Experience

High School Diploma

Minimum one year experience selling Property and Casualty Insurance.

Valid Property and Casualty License.

Proven track record in Sales \ Retention.

Work Environment/Equipment

Computer keyboard, Applied, calculator, Microsoft Word.

Postage machine, copier/fax, alarm system, and phone system.

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand for long periods of time.

Manual dexterity to operate computer and calculator.

Visual skills to read and interpret reports and data recording.

Hearing and speaking skills as required.
