Monica Yurconic-Groff , Communications and Marketing Manager of the John Yurconic Agency, is the sister of John T. Yurconic and the daughter of Helena and John Yurconic. After growing up in an insurance and notary family, Monica decided to branch out into the “other world” before entering the family business. Monica, a graduate of Lafayette College , with a B.A. in Psychology, and Lehigh University , with a Masters in Elementary Education, worked as a reading specialist and teacher for eleven years prior to joining the company in 2003. Her focus in the company includes advertising and marketing. As a Licensed Insurance Producer, Monica also writes Personal Lines Insurance. She is married and the mother of two children. In her spare time, she can be found spending time with her family, attending her children's sporting events, playing tennis, reading and scrapbooking. A highlight in Monica's life was being inducted as the first tennis player into Lafayette College 's Hall of Fame.
