John Yurconic Sr. - Chief Executive Officer
Upon graduating from Rider College in 1962, John Yurconic joined the CNA as an Insurance Adjuster. In 1969, John Sr. bought as small insurance agency and formed the John Yurconic Agency. John Sr. was the driving force behind the agency from inception through 1993. During this time, the Agency grew primarily in the Personal and Small Business Insurance markets. John Yurconic was politically active serving as a Lehigh County Commissioner from 1982 until 1986. His current responsibilities include overseeing the entire business with a specific focus on internal growth, acquisitions, and office expansion. He is an avid antique automobile collector and an accomplished musician.

John T. Yurconic Jr. - President
Upon earning a B.S. degree in Chemistry from Lafayette College, John Jr. joined the Agency in 1989. His primary focus was to develop and market specific Personal and Commercial Insurance products. Agency experience and expertise developed in the Medical Malpractice, Large Business, Restaurant, Motorcycle, Preferred Auto, and Non-Standard Auto Insurance markets. The Agency has evolved to be one of the largest and fastest growing insurance agencies in Pennsylvania with 12 locations in Lehigh, Northampton, Schuylkill, Berks, and Carbon counties. In 1996, John Jr. worked to bring the Agency's Vehicle Registration and Drivers' License division online with the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation's mainframe computer system. He currently holds his Accredited Advisor in Insurance designation and is a Certified WorkComp Advisor. John has developed specialized insurance programs for the podiatric medical malpractice and restaurant industries. He currently serves on the boards of Synergy Holdings Corp., a workmen's compensation specialist insurance company,Keystone Capital Investors, LLC, an investment group owning 49% of Keystone National Insurance Company, and Embassy Bank for the Lehigh Valley. John is an executive board member for the Minsi Trail Council of the Boy Scouts of America and also serves on the board of the Weller Health Education Center. He is a former board member of the Lehigh Valley Chamber Orchestra.John Jr. became President of the John Yurconic Agency on January 1, 2004. John was recently named one of the top business leaders under the age of 40 by the Eastern Pennsylvania Business Journal.John is married with two children and enjoys golf, tennis, soccer, boating and motorcycling.

1989   Joined the John Yurconic Agency as an insurance salesperson.

1991   Received the Accredited Advisor in Insurance designation.

1992   Named salesperson of the year for the Pa Patriot Insurance Company.

1994   Named statewide insurance broker for the Pennsylvania Podiatric Medical Association. Today the agency insures over 650 podiatrists.

1995   Named Vice President of the John Yurconic Agency and assumed all management functions of the company.

1996   Began a three year term on the Ambassador Bank Advisory Board.

1998   Selected to serve a two year term on the Penn National Insurance Company Commercial Lines National Advisory Board.

1999   Elected and currently serves as the Chairman of the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation Online Messenger Advisory Board.

2000   Named statewide insurance broker for the Florida Podiatric Medical Association.

2000   John Yurconic Agency joined the Keystone Insurers Group where John is a member of various advisory committees.

2003   Executive Board Member for the Minsi Trail Council of the Boys Scouts of America.

2004   Awarded Outstanding Personal Lines Production Award for Ohio Casualty Insurance Company, finished second in the country in new business sales.

2004   Named President of the John Yurconic Agency.

2004   Elected to the Board of Directors for Keystone Capital Investors, LLC, an investment group owning 49% of Keystone National Insurance Company.

2005   Member of Advisory Council for Embassy Bank for the Lehigh Valley.

2006   Elected to the Board of Directors for Synergy Holdings Corp., a workmen's compensation specialist insurance company.

2006   Selected as a recipient of the "20 Under 40" award presented by the Eastern Pennsylvania Business Journal.

Helena E. Yurconic - Vice President
Helena began her career with the John Yurconic Agency back when her husband bought a small agency in 1969. In addition to studying to obtain her nursing degree, she also served as a secretary to the agency and raised their three small children. Helena became licensed in insurance, real estate and notary. While still involved with the agency, her hobbies include being an avid tennis player, traveling, playing bridge and spending time with her grandchildren.

Richard V. Leonzi - Chief Financial Officer
Richard Leonzi joined the John Yurconic Agency as Chief Financial Officer in 2001 after serving as a financial and tax consultant to the business for many years. Richard holds Bachelor of Science degrees in Accounting and Business Management from Edison State College. He brings over thirty years of experience to the agency in the areas of finance, real estate acquisitions/development, business management, and tax preparation. When not working, Richard enjoys golf and traveling as leisure activities.

Ronald J. Hanna - Information Technology Manager
Ron joined the John Yurconic Agency in 2003 after a long tenure with Bethlehem Steel Corporation, which ended when the company was sold. His former position as "Manager, Procurement Systems and Technology", has enabled him to contribute a wealth of practical experience, technical knowledge, and management skills to the Agency. Ron is a graduate ("Valedictorian") of Lehigh County Community College, with an Associate's degree in Applied Sciences, Information Technology. Ron enjoys playing golf in good weather.

Patricia D. Sauka - Director of Operations
A graduate of Liberty High School in Bethlehem, Pat began her insurance career in 1975 with a local agency in Bethlehem. In 1988 she obtained her AAI, Accredited Advisor in Insurance designation. She joined the John Yurconic Agency as a Commercial Lines CSR in 1995, was promoted to Business Insurance Manager in 2002 and Insurance Manager in 2008. In 2009 she was promoted to Director of Operations. Currently her responsibilities include all aspects of the insurance and notary departments for the John Yurconic Agency. She resides in Allentown with her husband and daughter and enjoys reading in her spare time.

Pamela A. Stone - Operations & Compliance Manager
Pam is originally from the Pittsburgh area and a graduate of California University of Pennsylvania. She has been in the insurance industry for over 15 years working mainly in the Personal Lines field. Pam began working at the John Yurconic Agency in 2006 as a Project & Quality Control Coordinator, focusing on developing and implementing procedure manuals for all departments. In 2009, Pam was promoted to Operations & Compliance Manager overseeing the insurance and notary department operations. She enjoys spending time with her family, boating and traveling.
