Before You Take It On The Road
If you purchase a used vehicle from an individual owner, auction, or transfer a vehicle into Pennsylvania, you are required to register that vehicle. The Yurconic Agency offers specialized expertise on all vehicle registration services in the Greater Lehigh Valley. All without the long lines at the DMV.
- PA or Out of State title and registration required.
- Buyers need a valid driver’s license or state ID.
- IF the machine is from PA and already has a PA plate, the plate will stay with the machine and will just need the plate number.
- Buys will receive temporary registration valid for 45 days. Plates available if needed.
- At least one owner must be present with a current PA Driver’s License/PA ID and vehicle information such as VIN number, Plate number or Title number.
- State form MV-63 will be filled out and signed on location.
- PA title required.
- All owners must be present with valid PA drivers license or state ID.
- Current PA insurance.
- You will receive your plates in 4-8 weeks.

You need to get your renewal application from The International Registration Plan (IRP). If you haven’t received your renewal application by mid-February, call 1-800-932-4600 or 1-717-412-5300 (if calling from an out-of-state phone number) for a new application. You must bring your completed renewal application and mileage to The Yurconic Agency and we can help process your application.

If you visit our offices after May 1st, we are able to submit your payment and provide you with a temporary (60-day) registration until IRP processes your payment.
- PA or Out of State title or registration. If you don’t have your out of state title or registration you must have the Hull Identification Number (HIN).
- Pictures of HIN and all four sides of the boat are required if there is no title or registration.
- Buyer will need a valid driver’s license or state ID.
- Buy will receive a temporary registration valid for 60 days.
- All owners must be present with current PA Driver’s License/PA ID and Vehicle Information such as VIN, Plate or Title Number.
- A vehicle in a business name requires a typed authorization letter on company letterhead signed by the Owner/Officer of the company. A business ID number will also be required.
- MV-44 by owner.
- If an address needs to be updated or a never received product is requested, the vehicle owner must be present with PA Driver’s License/ID and Vehicle Information such as VIN, Plate or Title Number.
- All owners must be present with a current PA Driver’s License/PA ID and Vehicle Information such as VIN, Plate or Title Number.
- State form MV-38O will be completed and signed at our location.
- Vehicles in a business name need a typed authorization letter on company letterhead signed by the Owner/Officer of the company. A business ID number will also be required.
- PA Title or Manufacturer’s Statement of Origin.
- Out of state buyers must have a valid out of state drivers license or state ID.
- Current insurance.
- All sellers must be present with valid ID.
- Buyer will receive a temporary plate, valid for 60 days.
- All owners must be present with a current PA Driver’s License/PA ID, current insurance with the VIN number listed for the vehicle getting the instant plate.
- State form MV-140 will be filled out and signed by all owners/authorized company representatives.
- Vehicles in a business name, need a typed authorization letter on company letterhead signed by the Owner/Officer of the company. A business ID number will be required.
- All owners must be present with a current PA Driver’s License/PA ID and current insurance card with VIN number for the vehicle for which the plate is being transferred to.
- State form MV-120 (not available to the public) will be filled out and signed at our location.
- Vehicles in a business name need a typed authorization letter on company letterhead signed by the Owner/Officer of the company. A business ID number will be required.
- Must have PA or Out of State titles.
- Buyer needs a valid PA drivers license or state ID and proper insurance.
- For PA titles we can usually issue a plate the same day, unless the mechanic says otherwise.
- For Out of state titles plat depends on what type of brand the title has.
- MV426B required along with receipts, pictures of the vehicle, and letter from the insurance company.
- Enhanced safety inspections list.

Car titles are essential, particularly when it comes to buying or selling a car. Signing over the car title will transfer ownership from seller to buyer and The Yurconic Agency can help.
Documentation you will need:
- Proper identification documents buyer: Valid PA drivers license, PA state ID or Military ID.
- Proper Identification for seller: Valid PA drivers license, PA state ID or Military ID or passport.
- Vehicle ownership documents proving that the seller is the owner of the car. Such as:
- Pennsylvania certificate of title
- Out-of-state certificate of title
- Manufacturer certificate of origin
- Proof of insurance such ID Card, declarations page, signed binder.
- VIN verifications for any out of state title transfers- bring vehicle or MV41.
- Authorization letters for the signer for vehicles being put in a company name.
- For PA titles gifts bring form MV13 or for vehicles that are over 15 years old and the purchase price is less than $500 bring form MV3.

- If an address needs to be updated, the vehicle owner must be present with a current insurance card for the vehicle being renewed and PA Driver’s license/ PA ID.
- Insurance information and/or restoration fees can be instantly posted after the civil penalty has been paid or after the suspension was served.
- A zero-day lapse of insurance can be rescinded in most cases.
- A lapse of fewer than 30 days can be cleared up within 1-3 business days with form MV-221.
